LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. (CBS12) — A man who was allegedly drunk behind the wheel is accused of traveling at a high rate of speed on a Florida highway and striking three cars.
On Saturday night, deputies from the Lee County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) responded to a four-vehicle crash at the intersection of State Route 82 and Gunner Road in Lehigh Acres.
During the investigation, deputies found that three vehicles were stopped at a red light when a Dodge Ram was moving at a high rate of speed and had crashed into them from behind. A witness who saw the crash said that after the collision, the driver fled the scene…
