As previously reported, Florida Powerboat Club head Stu Jones, his wife, Jackie, and oldest son, Tyler, led 16 Nor-Tech center console owners-on their guests on an expedition to the Bahamas. The week-plus-long adventure was to some degree the culmination of the Cape Coral, Fla.-based company’s ongoing 30-year with relationship with the Pompano Beach, Fla., event producer.
Trust and loyalty are two-way streets. For a trip like that to happen, they need to exist on both sides of the boulevard. And they do between Nor-Tech and the Florida Powerboat Club.
“Honestly, I have to give them a perfect score because they have been so loyal to Florida Powerboat Club since 1995,” Jones said a few years back. “We really have relationship that has stood the test of time. From supporting their customers to being engaged with the club, they have been instrumental in helping to grow our sport, while still focusing on building a great brand of boat.”
That hasn’t changed. At any given Florida Powerboat Club event the Nor-Tech brand is likely to have most entries. That’s not a product of group-think among Nor-Tech owners, but it is fair to say the company has done a superb job introducing customers to the club through backing its events…
