TALLAHASSEE — J & J One Stop Gun Shop manager Todd Coward said his shop is taking a wait-and-see approach to a Florida sales-tax exemption and if it’ll add an economic bump.
Through its first day, Coward said “a lot of ammo” along with a few guns were purchased.
“People are saying they’re going to be back after they get their paycheck,” he said at the Port Charlotte shop. “In today’s economy, I don’t know that’s going to be a huge boost to the Second Amendment world. I don’t think it’s going to be like COVID.”…
