CAPE CORAL, Florida — A 28-year-old man from Cape Coral was arrested following two hit-and-run incidents and driving with a suspended license, according to the Cape Coral Police Department. The incidents occurred on September 12, 2025, involving multiple vehicles, including an unmarked police car.
Officers responded to a traffic crash on Del Prado Blvd N and NE 6th St, where a black Toyota Tundra fled the scene, stated the department. The vehicle was later located with front-end damage at its registered address on NE 2nd Place. The suspect, identified as Zachary Michael Gray Kelly, initially denied involvement but showed signs of impairment, including bloodshot eyes and slurred speech. He admitted to smoking marijuana.
The investigation revealed Gray Kelly was involved in two separate hit-and-run crashes that day. The first occurred in Lee County when he rear-ended a van and fled.
