United Way Kicks Off $11.5M Drive To Help Southwest Florida’s Community Services

United Way of Lee, Hendry, and Glades aims to raise over $11.5 million. The campaign launches on Oct. 29 at the Barbara B. Mann Performing Arts Hall.

Two local leaders step up to guide this year’s effort. At the helm are Carolyn Rogers from Florida Trust Wealth Management and Will Prather of Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre. Rogers brings her skills as Senior VP of Wealth Services, while Prather puts his arts background to work as CEO of Prather Productions.

The funds stay local. They flow straight to groups that serve area residents in need. Key partners include the Alvin A. Dubin Alzheimer’s Resource Center, Partners for Breast Cancer Care, Harry Chapin Food Bank, Boys & Girls Clubs, and United Way 211…
