Fort Myers, FL – Lee County residents heading out of town can now request a free safety service from the Lee County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) to keep their homes secure while they’re away.
According to LCSO, the department provides Vacation House Checks through its Civilian Support Unit (CSU). Trained volunteers will patrol homes, checking perimeter doors, windows, and gates to ensure they remain secure. They will also monitor for unusual activity, identify unaccompanied vehicles, and report any uncollected mail or packages.
