Planning a new Bayfront, taking their time

PUNTA GORDA — The Punta Gorda City Council is taking its time deciding what to do with waterfront amenities that were wrecked by hurricanes.

At a meeting this week, council members rejected a rendering for rebuilding the destroyed Bayfront Center. They also nixed an outside contact to operate the municipal Laishley Park Marina.
