BURNT STORE — Punta Gorda City Council OK’d one controversial proposal and denied another Wednesday.
A Vietnam veteran played the sounds of a Huey helicopter for the Punta Gorda City Council. He said some troops took their last ride on it and others huddled into the aircraft as a lifeline to return home.
