Fourth of five Club Blu mass shooting suspects guilty; one suspect heads to trial

One of four men accused of pulling up to a Fort Myers nightclub nearly a decade ago, firing on the crowd and killing two while shooting 14 others, remained motionless as courtroom officials announced the jury’s verdict.

Demetrius O’Neal, 28, faced two counts of second-degree murder for the deaths of Stef’an Strawder, 18, and Sean Archilles, 14, and one count of conspiracy. Jurors convicted him on all counts after about two hours of deliberations.

At least four relatives and friends of O’Neal exited the gallery. They briefly cried and screamed outside before they returned to the courtroom, sobbing and gasping…
