Cape Coral police officer recognized for saving 2-year-old child from drowning

CAPE CORAL, Fla. — An officer was honored by Cape Coral Police Chief Anthony Sizemore with an award this week for saving a 2-year-old who had stopped breathing during a drowning incident in August.

Officer Stephen Moon was presented with the “Life Saving Award” for being the first to arrive at the scene of a drowning involving a young child on Aug. 3.
