SANIBEL, Fla. (TCN) — A man allegedly stole a car, nearly ran over its owner, and then hid from police in a porta potty before emerging half-naked, brandishing two wooden stakes.
Joshua Mulnix, 43, was arrested Oct. 27 and taken into custody at the Lee County Jail. He was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill, grand theft auto, criminal mischief, and leaving the scene of a crash, WKRC reports.
Mulnix allegedly entered a property in Sanibel and tried to break into a shed, Gulf Coast News reports. When a construction worker told him to leave, Mulnix reportedly got into that worker’s car and began to drive away, nearly hitting the worker in the process…
