Mando’s Cuisine to Bring Scratch-Made Empanadas to Lee County

LEE, FL — Jose Flores is preparing to debut Mando’s Cuisine, a new food truck serving Lee County with a menu shaped by his 38 years of cooking experience. Flores told Business Debut he is targeting an opening in about a month and will operate from his commissary kitchen at 535 SE Baldwin Dr., Lee, FL 32059.

What to Expect

Mando’s Cuisine will feature a small but distinctive menu centered on baked empanadas made from scratch. Flores said everything is homemade, including the dough, and the empanadas will be filled with rotisserie chicken, peppers, onions, cheese, and a tomato-based sauce.

The truck will also offer fresh quesadillas and rotating daily specials served a couple of times per week. Flores described the concept as offering flavors not commonly found in the area and designed for customers looking for something “unique” and made with care.

Menu and Vision

Flores said he has spent nearly four decades cooking since arriving in the United States from El Salvador in 1985. “We have a passion for cooking,” he told Business Debut, noting he wants to bring flavorful, fresh food to the Lee community.
