Fort Myers, FL – Children spending their Saturday morning at Golisano Children’s Hospital were met with a burst of holiday cheer today as Lee County Sheriff’s Office deputies and several Southwest Florida fire districts delivered a heartwarming surprise from above.
According to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, the agency’s “tactical elves” teamed up with Iona McGregor Fire District, South Trail Fire Protection & Rescue Service District, Estero Fire Rescue, and Bonita Springs Fire Control and Rescue District to rappel down the hospital’s exterior.
