Although Scotty’s Bierwerks — a popular Cape Coral brewery — suddenly shut its doors in late November, its award-winning beer will continue to be available throughout Southwest Florida.
“When (Scotty’s) recently lost our lease on our Industrial Circle taproom, Scott Melick, our brewery’s founder and principal brewer had to close the doors,” a Dec. 5 post on the brewery’s Facebook page read. “To keep Scotty’s popular beers on taps all over Cape Coral and Ft Myers, Scotty has shared our recipes with LaBelle Brewing Company to continue brewing the Scotty Bierwerks’ signature lineup, including the Hazy IPA and Irish Red Ale.”…
