PUNTA GORDA — Chabad of Charlotte County will illuminate a large public menorah at the community center that was burned by an accused arsonist earlier this year, temple leaders announced.
The menorah lighting is set for 5 p.m. Sunday, the beginning of the Jewish celebration of Hanukkah, at the Punta Gorda Jewish Community Center, 424 W. Henry St., Punta Gorda.
