Lehigh Acres, Florida — A quiet neighborhood in Lehigh Acres was shaken earlier this month after authorities say a 14-year-old boy intentionally set a house on fire while a family of four slept inside, allegedly as part of a plan to kill a teenage friend.
According to investigators, the fire broke out around 6 a.m. on January 3, prompting a swift response from deputies and firefighters who arrived to find alarming evidence pointing to an intentional act.

Deputies with the Lee County Sheriff’s Office said first responders located an open 5-gallon propane tank near the front door of the home, along with a homemade Molotov cocktail at the scene.
