Lisa and Tom Leitch spent years looking for the perfect place to live.
“We started going to different areas and lived in different areas for a week to see what it was like,” Lisa Leitch explained. “We stayed in Bradenton and we liked the Jimmy Buffet feeling, but it didn’t have the outdoor feeling. Then we went to Naples, but we realized you don’t get to know your neighbors because the houses are so big. We were in Bonita Springs, but found we could not walk to any restaurants. We looked at other areas: Marco, Tampa. We thought these were the places, and then we quickly realized it was not.”
Town after town they visited, but nothing excited them like the Funky Fish Houses in Cape Coral. They could walk to shops and restaurants. They could have their boat on the canal behind their home, they found friendly neighbors and most of all they loved the unique look of these colorful waterfront homes…
