Next year the School District of Lee County will implement a comprehensive and purposeful monitoring system, which officials say will help students.
The three-year assessment evolution is not a one-time change, but rather a cycle of implementation, validation and continuous revision that will shift the focus from testing to a robust culture of assessment literacy.
The three-year assessment plan will launch in fiscal year 2027 for third through fifth grade math and English language arts students.
