CAPE CORAL, Florida — The Cape Coral Police Department will conduct an impaired driving operation on January 23, 2026, continuing into January 24. This initiative, funded by a grant, aims to enhance impaired driving enforcement across the city.
The operation is supported by FDOT sub-grant funding, as Cape Coral ranks 7th out of 38 agencies in impaired driving-related traffic fatalities and serious injuries on the Highway Safety Matrix – Ranking of Florida.
