PUNTA GORDA — Adding more firefighters, converting police radios to communicate with Sheriff’s deputies and adding flood protection are all part of Punta Gorda’s strategic plan.
At the 9 a.m. Thursday meeting, the City Council will examine the needs to keep up with growth, replace aging infrastructure and equipment.
While there is no financial cost attached to the plan, some items are from grants and other funding will come from the district or the general fund…
