A Fort Myers mom convicted for her infant’s fentanyl overdose learned her fate almost a year after she changed her plea and less than a month after a judge issued a bench warrant for her arrest.
Mary Elizabeth Sinopoli, 38, on April 16, 2025, pleaded no contest to aggravated child neglect. Her sentencing was delayed until Jan. 16, but Lee Circuit Judge Bruce Kyle issued a bench warrant for her arrest after she did not appear in court that day.
