CAPE CORAL, Florida — The Cape Coral Police Department conducted a special traffic operation on February 6, 2026, targeting speeding and aggressive driving, resulting in 109 citations.
The operation, which took place from 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., involved 117 total traffic stops, according to a press release from the department. Officers issued 62 speed citations, 98 moving citations, and 11 non-moving citations.
