Florida attorney general: Drug dealer overstayed visa, no plea deals

The state’s top legal official has announced the conviction of an undocumented immigrant with connections to a California prison gang and drug distribution that stretched into Southwest Florida.

Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier discussed the prosecution of Franklin Lara at a press conference in Fort Myers on Wednesday, Feb. 11.
