MATLACHA, Fla. — A 15-foot boat with two people onboard sank Monday in South Matlacha Pass in Lee County after a wave came over the stern.
The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission and the Lee County Sheriff’s Office responded to the single-vessel incident around 1:20 p.m. near South Matlacha Pass.
