(WBRE/WYOU) — A fugitive wanted in Pennsylvania for his role in the murder of Stephen Lepore back in 2012 has been arrested in Florida.
Brian “Sonny” Hewson was arrested on February 20 after he was found in Florida with charges of homicide for the murder case of Stephen Lepore that occurred in August 2012, according to Monroe County District Attorney Mike Mancuso.
Deputies with the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop in Punta Gorda, Florida, where Hewson was identified as a passenger. A records check revealed multiple active felony warrants, including a Pennsylvania warrant for homicide.
