FLORIDA — A Fort Myers woman is accused of violating her probation following a recent petit theft arrest, according to Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers.
Crime Stoppers said Niya Brown, 43, was initially arrested for allegedly stealing dozens of sets of children’s clothing from a Marshalls store. Authorities said Brown paid for a few items before placing additional merchandise in bags and leaving the store without paying for the remaining items.
Officials said the arrest led to a new warrant being issued for violating the terms of her probation. According to Crime Stoppers, Brown has been off the radar for several weeks…
