Cape Coral sees aquifer recovery milestone

The City of Cape Coral reports significant recovery in the Mid-Hawthorn Aquifer thanks to the Utilities Extension Project (UEP) and the transition of existing wells to centralized water service. The aquifer’s water level has risen above the Maximum Developable Limit (MDL) of -83.01 feet, marking a major milestone for the city’s water management efforts.
