PUNTA GORDA — A Charlotte County man who held two people hostage during a 12-hour standoff in 2023 was sentenced to serve two life sentences in prison on Wednesday, prosecutors said.
Jason Ritenour was convicted of two counts of kidnapping, following a three-day jury trial in the Charlotte County Justice Center in Punta Gorda.
