Less than a month after a judge denied a motion to vacate his death sentence, a Bonita Springs man continues to fight for his innocence in the 2015 wife’s murder-for-hire.
A Lee County jury in December 2019 convicted Mark Sievers, 57, of being a principal to commit first-degree murder with a firearm and conspiracy in the death of his wife, Dr. Teresa Sievers, 46.
