WINK News has filed a 60-page lawsuit against former Chief Meteorologist Matt Devitt, escalating a months-long dispute over his firing in January into a legal battle in Lee County.
The complaint, filed Monday, March 30, by Fort Myers Broadcasting Company in the 20th Judicial Circuit, accuses Devitt and his business, WeatherView Inc., of breaching his employment agreement and engaging in misconduct while still employed at the station.
