CAPE CORAL, Fla. — A Cape Coral fire inspector got a paws-itively fun surprise after being flagged down by a lineman from a Lee County Electric Cooperative subcontractor.
According to the Cape Coral Fire Department, fire inspector Daniel Machin responded to the LCEC truck and found four kittens in the back of the truck.
Machin bundled the kittens up and took them to Lee County Domestic Animal Services.
CCFD said the kittens may need to be fostered before being adopted, but that anyone looking to add a spark of energy to their home should consider adopting one of the kittens…
