Englewood Pedestrian Killed In Late-Night Crash At Grove City Intersection

A late-night walk in Charlotte County ended in tragedy Tuesday when a pedestrian was struck and killed at the intersection of San Casa Drive and 10th Street in the Grove City neighborhood. Emergency crews shut down the area while investigators worked through the night.

Florida Highway Patrol troopers say a vehicle hit an adult pedestrian, and troopers are leading the investigation, according to Gulf Coast News. The outlet reports that emergency dispatchers received the call at about 8:45 p.m.
