PUNTA GORDA — Dozens of vendors were setting up tables and tents at Gilchrist Park in Punta Gorda on Friday evening, all in preparation for the community’s 22nd annual Hibiscus Festival that will run Saturday and Sunday.
Organized by the Hibiscus Committee for the benefit of The Charlotte County Historical Society, the event features live music, the Lil’ Miss Hibiscus Pageant, food vendors, and lots of hibiscus and other plants for sale.
