Thousands without power in Indiana

INDIANA — More than 7,800 utility customers across Indiana are without electricity Thursday morning as outages continue to affect several areas of the state.

According to PowerOutage.us, 7,821 customers are currently without power, impacting about 0.24% of the more than 3.28 million customers tracked statewide.

Marion County is reporting the largest number of outages, with 3,369 customers without service. Porter County follows with 1,842 outages, while Lake County has 756 customers without power.
