Police report: Man arrested after disrupting flight from Indianapolis airport to Houston

INDIANAPOLIS — A man was arrested after he allegedly disrupted a flight from Indianapolis to Houston on Tuesday.

In a statement sent to FOX59/CBS4, the Indianapolis Airport Authority indicated that a disturbance broke out on United Airlines flight 3989, which was operated by MESA on behalf of United. The disturbance forced the flight crew to reverse course and return to Indianapolis International Airport instead of heading to Houston.

When the flight landed back in Indianapolis, a passenger was detained by airport police. The IAA indicated that the passenger’s alleged actions did not disrupt airport operations outside of the problems caused on United Airlines flight 3989…
