Amazon Now eyeing vacant Carmel office building for distribution center

In the not-too-distant future, residents in Carmel and surrounding areas may be able to order groceries and other essentials from Amazon and receive them in 30 minutes or less.

The online retail giant has applied for a special use permit from the City of Carmel to operate an Amazon Now delivery facility in a currently vacant office building at 12208 Hancock St.
