INDIANAPOLIS — A juvenile male was shot in the parking lot of a Meijer grocery store on the northwest side of Indianapolis Wednesday evening.
According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers were called to the Meijer located at 5349 W. Pike Plaza Rd. on the northwest side of the city around 7 p.m. to investigate a shooting.
As officers began their investigation in the store’s parking lot, they received a report that indicated a person checked into St. Vincent Hospital — which is located at 2001 W. 86th St. — to have gunshot wounds treated. Additional IMPD officers subsequently responded to the hospital and confirmed that a person with apparent gunshot wounds had, indeed, checked into the hospital…
