INDIANAPOLIS — Police found a possible improvised explosive device while conducting a traffic stop on the west side of Indianapolis Saturday morning.
According to a public report, officers with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department conducted a traffic stop with 40-year-old Ashley Louise Hunt near the intersection of South Lockburn and Gadsden Streets around 1 a.m. Saturday. During that stop, officers located what they suspected to be an improvised explosive device (IED).
