INDIANAPOLIS – A person died and two others were rescued after a fire broke out Monday morning at a home on the northeast side.
Crews were dispatched around 7:15 a.m. Monday to the 8400 block of East 42nd Street.
They encountered heavy fire and saw two people standing on the roof. They were rescued by ladder.
Inside the home, firefighters found a man on the second floor and used a ladder to rescue him. He was pronounced dead a short time later…
