The growing political hysteria stalling artificial intelligence data centers across Indiana is “madness” and a direct threat to American national security, Tony Katz warned, torching anti-growth pushback that risks handing global tech dominance straight to Beijing.

While local opposition and county-level moratoriums crop up across the state, Katz pointed to reports revealing that foreign adversaries are actively fueling anti-AI sentiment in the United States to choke off domestic infrastructure.

“China is working overtime to push anti-AI data center sentiment so they won’t be built here, so they can be built in China,” Katz said. “This is a national security issue. The mob mentality isn’t helping us. It’s destructive.”…
