Westfield Police Department briefly asked drivers to avoid the area around 156th Street and Westfield Boulevard after a vehicle accident caused power lines to fall, leading to a related power outage.
“Lines are down near 156th Street and Westfield Boulevard,” WPD stated in a Facebook post at about 2:15 p.m.. “Power lines were struck by a passing vehicle and the lines down have (caused) a power outage to the larger area of 156th Street to 146th Street, including the immediate commercial shopping area and intersection traffic lights.”…
