Indianapolis man pleads guilty to reckless homicide in fatal 2023 crash

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — An Indianapolis man admitted to causing a 2023 crash that killed Avery May, age 20, and injured his girlfriend, Rylee White.

As part of a plea agreement, Bradley Woods pleaded guilty in Marion County Superior Court Tuesday to 3 counts:

  • Failure to Remain at the Scene of an Accident Resulting in Death
  • Reckless Homicide (def. recklessly kills another human being using vehicle)
  • Criminal Recklessness committed with a deadly weapon

The crash happened on East Southport Road and Little Oak Lane on Dec. 23, 2023.
