INDIANA – FEMA disaster assistance may provide funds to homeowners and renters in Indiana’s 21 designated counties for serious needs, basic home repair, rental of temporary housing, and other uninsured expenses resulting from the August 2026 storms. FEMA assistance is not a replacement for insurance. Report your housing needs to FEMA when you apply, and the staff will work with you to determine your eligibility and the type of assistance that meets your housing needs.
