HANCOCK COUNTY, Ind. — A man was arrested after he was allegedly driving drunk through a Greenfield neighborhood early Sunday morning and damaging property.
Andrew Birdwell, 41, was charged with the following:
- Unlawful Carrying of a Handgun with prior felony conviction within the last 15 years, a Level 5 Felony
- Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated: Endangering a Person within 7 years, a Level 6 Felony
- Leaving the scene of an accident where driver fails to immediately stop at the scene, a Class B Misdemeanor
The Hancock County Sheriff’s Department was dispatched on Sunday at approximately 2:59 a.m. on a report of damaged property at N Buck Creek Road.
