INDIANAPOLIS — A pickup truck driver put a hole in the wall of a grocery store on the east side of Indianapolis Tuesday night.
Public emergency reporting systems indicate that members of the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department and Indianapolis Fire Department responded to 2135 N. Post Rd. around 9 p.m. to render assistance at the scene of a crash. When first responders arrived at the scene, they located a pickup truck that appeared to have been driven into Viva Supermercado.
IFD reported that the pickup truck’s driver was not in the vehicle or at the scene when firefighters made it to the area.
Per the fire department, no injuries related to the crash had been reported as of 10:30 p.m. Officials have also indicated that pickup truck’s driver ran through a nearby Home Depot’s fence before striking Viva Supermercado…
