The Atlanta Dream played in their final preseason game on Saturday at home against the Indiana Fever. Unfortunately, they were not able to get the win, and lost 81-76 after having a hard time getting anything going on offense. The Dream’s top two players, Rhyne Howard and Allisha Gray, did not have the best game on offense, as they were a combined 3-for-20 from the field.
The one player who stepped up for the Dream was rookie Te-Hina Paopao, who finished with a team-high 14 points. She played well on both sides of the ball, and she showed that she wasn’t afraid of the moment.
During the second quarter of the game, Caitlin Clark knocked down a step-back 3-pointer while Paopao was guarding her, and the crowd went crazy. Paopao didn’t let her stay in that moment, and two possessions later, she knocked down a step-back 3-pointer over Clark.
After the game, Paopao was asked about the shot she made over Clark, and it was obvious that she wanted her payback…
