KIRKLIN, Ind. (WISH) — Two men from Kirklin have been charged in connection with the shooting deaths of two female chocolate Labrador retrievers, Ruby and Nellie, after an investigation by the Boone County Sheriff’s Office.
Paul Ed Bowman, 49, and Brayden Bowman, 21, each face low-level felony charges. According to online court records, Paul Ed Bowman was charged Monday with two counts of killing a domestic animal without consent, and a count of obstruction of justice, while Brayden Bowman faces a count of killing a domestic animal without consent, and a count of obstruction of justice. Paul Ed Bowman was booked Tuesday into the Boone County jail and later released on a $505 bond. An arrest warrant remained outstanding for Brayden Bowman, online court records show.
