Fishers man ‘stunting’ on ATV on Monument Circle charged after allegedly fleeing IMPD

INDIANAPOLIS — A Fishers man has been charged after allegedly fleeing at least two IMPD traffic stops on an ATV, including one on Monument Circle.

Eric Morse Jr. was charged June 2 with two counts of resisting law enforcement, according to online court records. Online records indicate he was released from jail after posting bond.

According to court documents, an IMPD officer patrolling on Monument Circle the evening of May 10 saw Morse Jr. “stunting” on an ATV, riding on the right two tires in a heavily-trafficked area. After seeing the officer’s car, Morse Jr. fled by driving onto the sidewalk, and the officer didn’t chase him out of concern for public safety, according to the documents…
