Indianapolis man and woman arrested after allegedly trying to hit off-duty Kentucky sheriff’s deputy with car

CARROLLTON, Ky. — Kentucky State Police (KSP) is investigating an off-duty sheriff’s deputy who fired at two fleeing suspects early Thursday morning in Carroll County.

According to police, the Carroll County Sheriff’s deputy found a suspicious vehicle parked on private property along KY-55 around 2 a.m.

After a brief interaction, the driver of the vehicle accelerated toward the officer in an alleged attempt to hit him. The officer then shot at the suspect’s vehicle, KSP said…
