Indiana troopers arrest one of their own on multiple charges
SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WISH) — Indiana State Police on Monday night reported the arrest of one of its troopers but provided few details on what led to the criminal charges.
According to online court records, Andrew G. Kocsis, 39, was charged Monday with a low-level felony county of theft where value of property is between $750 and $50,000; a low-level felony count of obstruction of justice for altering, damaging or removing any record or document; and a misdemeanor count of fraud. Kocsis’ initial hearing was set for 1 p.m. July 8 in St. Joseph Superior Court 2 in South Bend.
